CHOCOLATE BROWN SLICES- BY EXCELLENCE CREME
Before: Naturallevel 3 hair with
grown-out highlights.
BR-6 Extreme Light Beige Brown
1 Tube of Excellence Créme Browns Extreme
BR-5 Extreme Light Auburn
Developer 30 Volume
Formulas:
MIX
Use alternating formulas of BR-6 mixed with 2.5 oz of 30 Volume Oreor Créme Developer and BR-5 Extreme Light Auburn mixed with 2.5 oz of 30 Volume Oreor Créme Developer.
SLICE
Take random slices through the top and sides, then scatter them through the nape for a peek-a-boo effect
Divide the front from the
back. In front, section
out a 3-inch wide
rectangle that moves
from the front hairline to
just below the crown.
In back, part off the lower nape.
In back, part off the lower nape.
Begin at the front of the
rectangle. Take wide, fine
slices, brush on the BR-6
formula and seal in foil.
Working back, use a random placement pattern and occasional back-to-back slices. Alternate the formulas in a 2:1 ratio, making the BR-6 formula dominant.

Move to the left side.
Working from the bottom
up, take soft diagonal
partings and continue the
slicing technique,
alternating the formulas in
the same ratio as before.
When you reach the
top rectangle, repeat the
procedure on the opposite side.
Now, move to the back.
Leave the large section at
the crown uncolored. Take
random slices through the
nape section, working
side-to-side as you repeat
the application technique.
Process for 30 minutes at
room temperature. Then rinse,
shampoo with Nature's Therapy
Mega Moisture Nurturing Shampoo
and follow with Mega
Moisture Nurturing Créme.
